Terms of Service

Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of DAGCore, including the DAGCore website, mining pool, Stratum services, RPC endpoints, APIs, network information, monitoring tools, explorer-related services, documentation and any other services made available through dagcore.net (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using any of the Services, including connecting mining hardware or software to the DAGCore mining pool, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Services.

1Operator

DAGCore is an independent community infrastructure project (“DAGCore”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

DAGCore is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with BlockDAG, its founders, companies, developers, promoters, exchanges or any other organization unless explicitly stated otherwise.

2Supported Network

DAGCore infrastructure exclusively supports the BlockDAG Community / engineering-token network.

DAGCore does not provide infrastructure or services for other networks or blockchain branches that may use the same or similar names, assets, identifiers or Chain ID.

Users are solely responsible for verifying that their wallet, mining software, applications, transactions, RPC configuration and other software are connected to the network supported by DAGCore.

DAGCore is not responsible for any loss resulting from the use of an incorrect blockchain, RPC endpoint, wallet configuration, network branch, Chain ID implementation or incompatible software.

3Nature of the Services

DAGCore provides community-operated technical infrastructure which may include a public mining pool, Stratum services, blockchain nodes, public RPC endpoints, APIs, blockchain and network information, monitoring and status services, explorer and network tools, and documentation and technical resources.

The Services are provided on a best-effort basis.

DAGCore is not a bank, financial institution, investment service, cryptocurrency exchange, broker, custodian, wallet provider or financial adviser.

Nothing published or provided by DAGCore constitutes financial, investment, legal or tax advice.

4Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the DAGCore mining pool or any Service involving cryptocurrency or digital assets.

By using such Services, you confirm that you are legally permitted to do so under the laws applicable to you.

You are solely responsible for determining whether mining, holding, receiving, transferring or otherwise using BDAG is lawful in your jurisdiction.

5DAGCore Mining Pool

The DAGCore mining pool is provided without user accounts or traditional registration. A miner participates by configuring compatible mining software and providing a wallet address.

Connecting to the DAGCore Stratum service constitutes acceptance of these Terms. These Terms are linked from the pool connection instructions on dagcore.net, so that they can be read before connecting.

Mining does not guarantee any specific amount of BDAG or any other reward. Actual rewards may depend on network difficulty, miner hashrate, submitted and accepted shares, pool performance, block discovery, blockchain rules, network conditions, PPLNS calculations, software behavior and other technical factors.

Statistics displayed by the website, API, mining software or pool interface may be delayed, estimated, incomplete or temporarily incorrect.

6Reward Distribution and Actual Block Rewards

Mining rewards are calculated according to the pool's currently published reward distribution system.

The nominal protocol block reward and the amount actually received by the pool wallet may differ. DAGCore distributes rewards based exclusively on the amount of BDAG actually received and confirmed by the pool wallet, not on a nominal block reward displayed or calculated by the protocol.

Under the current BlockDAG Community network reward mechanism, the amount reaching the pool wallet is 70% of the nominal block reward; the remaining 30% is allocated by the protocol to staking. This split is determined by the network and protocol, not by DAGCore, and may change as the network or protocol changes. The figure is measured rather than assumed: across the payout windows sampled on 21 September 2026 the amount received was 70.00% of the nominal reward in every window.

The 30% allocated to staking does not arrive in the pool wallet as spendable balance, and is therefore not part of the amount divided between miners under this section. It is recorded by the protocol against the wallet that mined the block — the DAGCore pool wallet — and is visible to the holder of that wallet through the BlockDAG staking interface. DAGCore does not control this mechanism, the terms on which any staked amount is held, or whether it ever becomes available.

If any staked amount recorded against the pool wallet later becomes available to it, DAGCore will distribute it to the miners whose work produced it, using the share weights recorded for the blocks it arose from — not the weights of whoever happens to be mining at the time it becomes available.

So that this remains possible however long it takes, DAGCore retains those per-block share weights permanently, for as long as the pool operates.

A miner who has stopped mining in the meantime does not lose this. The amount is sent to the wallet address that miner supplied, on the same terms as any other payout, and Section 9 applies to it.

Any yield, reward or return generated by a staked amount is treated the same way and distributed on the same weights.

The pool fee is applied to the amount actually received by the pool and available for distribution.

DAGCore does not create, replace or compensate for the difference between a nominal block reward and the amount actually delivered by the network.

7Pool Fees and Operational Parameters

DAGCore may charge a mining pool fee. The current fee and other relevant pool parameters are displayed on the DAGCore website and through its API.

The pool fee may change in the future. Any increase in the mining pool fee will be announced on dagcore.net at least 7 days before it becomes effective. A reduction in the pool fee may take effect immediately.

Changes required urgently to address a security vulnerability, protocol change, serious accounting defect or other issue that could affect the integrity of the pool or miner balances may be implemented immediately where reasonably necessary to protect miners or the pool.

DAGCore may also modify payout thresholds, payout intervals, confirmation requirements, PPLNS parameters, reward calculation parameters, Stratum configuration and other operational parameters of the mining pool. Material changes affecting miners will be published on dagcore.net.

The parameters published by DAGCore at the time mining activity takes place apply to that activity.

8Mining Rewards and Payments

Mining rewards are calculated according to the pool's current reward distribution system and based on valid mining activity recognized by the pool.

A displayed balance does not constitute a bank deposit, custodial account, investment account or guaranteed financial claim.

Payments are blockchain transactions and are subject to the operation and state of the supported BlockDAG Community network.

Once a valid payment has been transmitted to the wallet address supplied by the miner and accepted by the network, DAGCore has fulfilled its payment obligation for that amount. Blockchain transactions may be irreversible, and DAGCore cannot reverse a completed blockchain transaction.

9Inactive Miner Balances

A miner is considered inactive after 48 consecutive hours without valid mining activity on the DAGCore pool.

When a miner becomes inactive, DAGCore will pay the miner's unpaid balance in full, even if it is below the normal minimum payout threshold, provided that:

• the balance is worth more than three times the current network transaction cost;
• the balance is technically transferable;
• the wallet address remains valid and compatible with the supported network; and
• no legitimate security, fraud or accounting investigation affecting the balance is pending.

The final payout will be sent to the wallet address previously supplied by the miner.

DAGCore does not charge an inactivity fee and does not retain eligible mining rewards because a miner has stopped mining.

Balances that cannot technically be transferred, including amounts lower than the threshold above, may remain recorded until they become transferable or until the mining pool is permanently discontinued.

10Wallet Responsibility

DAGCore does not provide or manage user wallets and does not hold miners' private keys.

The miner is solely responsible for providing a correct and compatible wallet address. DAGCore cannot reverse, recover, redirect or compensate payments resulting from:

• an incorrect wallet address;
• an incompatible wallet;
• incorrect address capitalization or formatting where software treats addresses differently;
• an address belonging to another person;
• an address on another blockchain or network branch;
• compromised private keys;
• loss of wallet credentials;
• incorrect miner configuration;
• malware or unauthorized modification of mining software.

Users should carefully verify their wallet address and supported network before beginning mining.

11No Guarantee of Mining Rewards or Value

Mining is probabilistic. DAGCore does not guarantee:

• that the pool will discover blocks;
• any minimum mining income;
• any particular reward per share;
• any particular amount of BDAG per hour, day, month or other period;
• that estimated rewards will equal final rewards;
• any particular network hashrate or difficulty;
• that BDAG will have any particular monetary value;
• that BDAG can be sold or exchanged;
• that BDAG will be listed or remain listed on any exchange;
• that any third party, exchange, service provider or organization will recognize or support the network served by DAGCore.

Any profitability figures, calculators, estimates, statistics or projections provided by DAGCore are informational only.

12Blockchain and Protocol Risks

Blockchain networks and related software may experience forks, reorganizations, protocol changes, consensus failures, software defects, incompatible releases, corrupted data, network partitions, malicious activity or other unexpected events.

DAGCore does not control the underlying BlockDAG protocol or development process. DAGCore is not responsible for losses caused by:

• blockchain reorganizations;
• forks or chain divergence;
• protocol changes;
• consensus failures;
• software bugs;
• node or pool software defects;
• incompatible software versions;
• invalid, rejected or orphaned blocks;
• network outages or partitions;
• changes made by blockchain developers;
• third-party software or services;
• loss or reduction of mining rewards resulting from such events.

13RPC and API Services

DAGCore may provide public RPC and API access without charge or registration. These services may be used for personal use, software development, research, community projects, monitoring, wallets and explorers, and commercial applications. Commercial use is permitted subject to these Terms and any published technical restrictions.

DAGCore may impose or change request limits, connection limits, rate limits, IP restrictions, endpoint availability, caching policies, abuse-prevention mechanisms and other reasonable technical restrictions.

Applications should not depend on DAGCore public endpoints as their sole source of critical infrastructure without implementing appropriate redundancy.

DAGCore does not guarantee that any particular endpoint, RPC method, response format, API version or feature will remain available indefinitely.

14Availability and Uptime

DAGCore operates its infrastructure on a best-effort basis. DAGCore aims to maintain high availability of its public infrastructure but provides no uptime guarantee or Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Services may be interrupted for scheduled or emergency maintenance, software or protocol upgrades, security incidents, infrastructure failures, blockchain problems, Internet or network problems, DDoS attacks, hosting provider outages, software failures, hardware failures, or circumstances outside DAGCore's reasonable control.

DAGCore may restart, relocate, reconfigure or replace servers or infrastructure when operationally necessary.

No compensation, service credit, replacement mining reward or other payment is owed solely as a result of downtime or temporary unavailability of the Services.

15Prohibited Use

You may not use DAGCore Services to:

• attack, disrupt, overload or interfere with DAGCore infrastructure;
• perform or facilitate DDoS attacks;
• bypass rate limits or technical restrictions;
• exploit software bugs or vulnerabilities for unfair advantage;
• manipulate mining shares or reward calculations;
• submit fraudulent or fabricated mining work;
• attempt unauthorized access to systems or data;
• distribute malware;
• abuse RPC, API or Stratum infrastructure;
• interfere with other miners or users;
• circumvent security or abuse-prevention mechanisms;
• engage in activity prohibited by applicable law.

Unauthorized Mining and Cryptojacking

Mining using computers, servers, mobile devices or other hardware that you do not own or for which you do not have explicit authorization to use for cryptocurrency mining is strictly prohibited. This includes botnets, compromised computers or servers, malware-based miners, cryptojacking, and unauthorized use of workplace, institutional, educational, cloud or hosting resources, or any other hardware used without the owner's explicit authorization.

DAGCore may cooperate with hosting providers, network operators, security researchers or competent authorities investigating malicious mining activity, where legally required or reasonably necessary to protect the Services.

16Suspension, Blocking and Fraud

DAGCore reserves the right to restrict, throttle, suspend or permanently block any wallet address, miner, IP address, network, API client, application or user that violates these Terms, attacks or threatens the infrastructure, exploits or attempts to exploit a vulnerability, manipulates or attempts to manipulate mining accounting, submits fraudulent mining activity, generates excessive or abusive traffic, circumvents technical restrictions, threatens the security or stability of the Services, or engages in unlawful activity.

Where necessary to protect the infrastructure, miners or other users, such action may be taken without prior notice.

Blocking or suspending a miner does not automatically result in forfeiture of legitimately earned and confirmed mining rewards.

DAGCore may temporarily withhold a payout while investigating suspected fraud, manipulated shares, exploitation of a software defect, accounting irregularities or other abuse. Rewards determined to have been legitimately earned remain eligible for payment.

Amounts resulting from fraudulent, invalid, manipulated, duplicated or artificially generated mining activity are not considered valid mining rewards and may be removed from pool accounting.

Where technically possible, any undisputed legitimate balance remaining after an investigation will be paid to the miner's wallet address.

17Permanent Pool Shutdown

DAGCore may permanently discontinue the mining pool. If DAGCore decides to do so, we will provide at least 7 days' notice on dagcore.net whenever reasonably possible.

During the shutdown process, DAGCore will attempt to distribute all confirmed and payable miner balances, including balances below the normal payout threshold, provided that the balances exceed applicable transaction costs and can technically be transferred.

DAGCore will not intentionally retain otherwise payable mining rewards because the pool is being discontinued.

Temporary maintenance, emergency shutdowns, security incidents, infrastructure failures, protocol emergencies or circumstances outside DAGCore's reasonable control are not considered a permanent pool shutdown. Where an emergency makes advance notice impossible, DAGCore will publish relevant information as soon as reasonably practical.

18Taxes

Miners and other users are solely responsible for determining, reporting and paying any taxes, duties, contributions or other obligations applicable to BDAG or mining rewards received through DAGCore. Tax treatment may differ depending on the user's country, tax residence, legal status and individual circumstances.

DAGCore does not provide tax advice and does not calculate, report or withhold taxes on behalf of miners unless required to do so by applicable law.

19Security

DAGCore takes reasonable technical measures to maintain the security and integrity of its infrastructure. However, no Internet-connected service, blockchain network or software system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Users are responsible for securing their own computers, mining hardware, operating systems, mining software, wallets, private keys, credentials and network connections. Users should obtain mining software only from sources they trust and verify software where appropriate.

20Privacy

Use of DAGCore is also subject to the DAGCore Privacy Policy, available on dagcore.net. The Privacy Policy describes how information associated with the use of the website, mining pool, RPC, API and other Services is collected, processed, stored and protected.

Depending on the Service used, technical information may include IP addresses, wallet addresses, request information and server logs. Users should review the Privacy Policy before using the Services.

21Third-Party Software and Services

DAGCore infrastructure may rely on open-source software, blockchain software, mining pool software, hosting and cloud providers, Internet service providers, DNS services, security services, monitoring systems and other third-party infrastructure.

DAGCore does not control and is not responsible for the availability, security, behavior, errors, policies or actions of third-party services or software.

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience or informational purposes and do not constitute endorsement of those websites, services or their operators.

22No Warranty

The Services are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”, without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

DAGCore does not warrant that the Services will operate without interruption, be error-free, be completely secure, provide perfectly accurate information, remain compatible with particular software or hardware, or remain available indefinitely.

Network statistics, balances displayed by DAGCore, hashrates, block information, reward estimates, API responses and other information may occasionally be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Where a discrepancy exists, confirmed blockchain data and the pool's verified accounting records may be used to determine the actual state of a payment or mining reward.

23Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DAGCore and its operator shall not be liable for losses arising from the use of or inability to use the Services, including loss of BDAG or other digital assets, mining rewards, revenue, profits, data or business opportunities.

This includes losses resulting from downtime, incorrect wallet addresses, incorrect user configuration, blockchain forks, chain divergence, reorganizations, protocol changes, software defects, security incidents, third-party failures, network changes, mining calculation errors, hardware failures, Internet connectivity problems or incompatible mining software.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

24Changes to the Services

DAGCore may modify, expand, restrict, replace, suspend or discontinue Services or features, including mining infrastructure, RPC endpoints, APIs, blockchain nodes, geographical server locations, pool parameters, payout rules, rate limits, supported software, monitoring services and network tools.

DAGCore is not obligated to maintain any particular free Service indefinitely. Permanent discontinuation of the mining pool remains subject to the payout provisions described in Section 17.

25Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated when the Services, infrastructure, applicable laws, network protocol or operational requirements change. The current version will be published on dagcore.net together with its last-updated date.

Material changes affecting mining rewards, payment rules or users' rights will be communicated through the DAGCore website. Any increase in the mining pool fee remains subject to the 7-day advance notice requirement in Section 7.

Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Changes affecting mining balances already legitimately earned will not be applied retroactively except where reasonably necessary to correct an accounting error, remove invalid or fraudulent rewards, address exploitation or abuse, comply with applicable law, correct consequences of a protocol or software defect, or protect the integrity of the pool and its miners.

26Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and the use of DAGCore Services are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Romania, subject to any mandatory consumer protection or other legal provisions that may apply.

27Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found by a competent authority or court to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or limited to the minimum extent necessary, while the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

28Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the DAGCore Privacy Policy and any specific rules or technical conditions clearly published for a particular Service, constitute the terms governing use of DAGCore Services.

In the event of an inconsistency between general informational content on the website and these Terms concerning legal rights or obligations, these Terms will apply, except where a specific Service rule explicitly states otherwise.
